1. Getting Started

 Hello again,

Today's goal was to get started (again). I was doing fairly well with exercise for a couple of weeks, then I decided to take holidays and ruined that because apparently time off work means time off everything.

To be more specific, I finally got my elliptical moved over to our new house (after 8 months of being here) a few weeks ago and now I need to use it! So, I set a goal for 15 minuets.

Firstly, I completely forgot to stretch first because I was too keen to actually get on it, which I think was a pretty serious mistake. With in literal minuets I was exhausted and my legs were ready to quit. It was 3, 3 minuets. I was slightly devastated by that, so I said, right let's do 5 and then work on arms.

Which I did. I had a break in between because my thighs felt like concrete. But I pushed past it and continued to do an arm/upper body work out for 25 minuets. So I reached my general all over activity time.

At the end, I was pleased and felt pretty frigen good!

Here's a shot of my work outs:

Now, setting goals for tomorrow. Now that I have a more realistic feel of the elliptical again, we will aim for a stretch, 5 - 10 minuets on it and then we work on possibly legs/bum, however, it probably be better to do my core since my legs will not like it.

So, 25 ish minuets of core work out. I already have a routine, from those three weeks I was motivated for. I'll review that and possibly spend some time tonight finding things to focus on that area.

I'd also like to take ten for meditation or reading or something mindful. I'm feeling a bit tense today, but that could be from the work out.

Anyway, I'll check in later.

Cheers.

2. Ad ons.

I’ve decided I want to add a selfcare routine to this project. I need to be better at looking after myself in all aspects. After spending yesterday afternoon doing my make up, I needed to take it off and clean my face.  This led to a full face routine, which is something I don’t do. I usually moisturize regularly, and occasionally do face masks, but I’m not great at doing them. I also feel that I should be doing more. Last night consisted of “gently” scrubbing off my makeup, using a face scrub, a sheet mask, moisturizing and a gentle face massage with those fancy ass crystal roller things. The face scrub, which I have used before, caused some serious irritation on my cheeks. Sometimes it’s a little aggressive, but I thought this would be good for getting all the crap out of my pores. It might have, but it was uncomfortable. So much so, that I had my sheet mask on for all of 3 minuets because I need to sooth my skin. The packet said 15 minutes, but I just couldn’t do it. So, I...
